Terms of Service
These terms apply when you create a Taskss account or use the Taskss website and mobile applications. Taskss is operated by Big Helpers in New Delhi, India.
1. Your account
You must be 18 years of age or older to create a Taskss account. Give accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from a failure within Taskss.
2. Using Taskss responsibly
You may use Taskss for lawful personal or organisational planning. You must not use it to harm others, violate their rights, distribute malicious software, probe or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, or upload content you do not have the right to use.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of tasks, notes, journal entries, attachments and other content you add. You give Big Helpers the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, synchronise and display that content solely to operate and secure Taskss. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to the retention periods explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Encrypted journal
The journal encryption key is derived from the passphrase you choose. We do not receive or store that passphrase and cannot reset it or decrypt your journal. You are responsible for keeping the passphrase safe. Losing it can make journal content permanently unrecoverable.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep Taskss reliable, but no online service can promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the product develops. When a change materially affects your rights or the way personal data is handled, we will provide appropriate notice.
6. Paid features
If you choose a paid feature, the price and billing period shown before purchase apply. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider or an app store, whose payment terms also apply. Unless the purchase screen or applicable law says otherwise, recurring access continues until cancelled through the place where it was purchased.
7. Account suspension and deletion
You may delete your account using the in-app control or the instructions on our account deletion page. We may restrict or close an account that seriously or repeatedly violates these terms, threatens the service or other users, or must be restricted by law. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the action.
8. Our responsibility
Taskss is a planning tool, not professional, medical, legal or financial advice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Big Helpers is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction in New Delhi will hear disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protection right that applies where you live. Questions can be sent to admin@bighelpers.in.
